International KARL-KOLLE-Prize for Metal Forming 2020
Call for Nominations
Objective
The German Metal Forming Association (AGU) may award the KARL-KOLLE-Prize to researchers to recognize their outstanding research achievements in the field of metal forming. The research outcome should be the basis for technological oriented innovation. The prize aims to support young researchers in their career.
Prize
The prize consists of a certificate of merit, a medal and a monetary award of €10,000.
Nomination and Selection
Candidates for the prize can be nominated by a third person or by the candidate her-/himself.
All applications must be submitted to the AGU in digital form including the CV, publication
list and justification for the prize.
The AGU Prize Selection Committee is charged with
reviewing the candidates’ research activity and making a proposal to the Assembly of AGU
that makes the final decision.
Eligibility
All young researchers (preferably below an age of 35) working in the field of metal forming are eligible as a candidate. The KARL-KOLLE-Prize is an international award.
